At Covenant Technology Solutions, we believe in showing up for our clients and partners in meaningful ways—on the field, in the cloud, and across every layer of IT strategy. That belief was on full display during a recent evening at Providence Park, where we joined Acronis and the Portland Timbers to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary and deepen the connection between innovation, community, and camaraderie.

As the Timbers faced off against Minnesota United, the night took an unforgettable turn in stoppage time when Omir Fernández scored his first goal as a Timber—igniting a stadium already buzzing from the club’s historic celebration. But the excitement extended far beyond the pitch.

The evening wasn’t just about soccer; it was about connection. Over the past three years, our partnership with Acronis has enabled us to deliver powerful backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions to our clients—solutions that are as resilient and responsive as a strong back line. Together, we’ve helped businesses stay protected, productive, and prepared.

We were proud to host clients, friends, and teammates—including Pat Hurley and Yvonne Bratton from Acronis, and Robert Rice and Allison from the Timbers organization. Their presence underscored the shared commitment we all have to delivering excellence—whether it’s in securing digital infrastructure or energizing fans in a packed stadium.

It was also a celebration of what makes Covenant unique. Our CEO, Tim Choquette, shared stories from the stands, reflections on the club’s roots (including a personal connection to legendary coach Clive Charles), and visions for future opportunities—like bringing our Fortify security solution and AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot to more MLS organizations. And yes, he wore a shirt with his own face on it—because why not have a little fun while you’re making big moves?

From the TiFo that spanned the stadium to the warm bread Yvonne baked and brought (a true story), it was a night filled with connection, joy, and momentum. Jay Martineau even snagged a field pass and captured some iconic shots—reminding us that every great partnership needs someone behind the scenes making it all look effortless.

As we look ahead to a potential renewal of our partnership with both Acronis and the Portland Timbers, we’re energized by what’s possible. More impact. More collaboration. More moments that blend technology, trust, and a little bit of magic.

To everyone who joined us: thank you. Your presence reminded us that the best solutions are built not just with tech, but with people who care deeply about the work, the mission, and each other.

Here’s to scoring big in business, in security, and in celebration.
